Blood Bank
We follow good transfusion practices and stringent quality control measures in terms of blood donation, testing of blood products and transfusion practices.
We have all the standard facilities and equipment required for a modern blood bank including adequate inventory of all blood units, component separation facility, screening for transfusion transmitted infections, recovery room for donors, follow-up and referral of high-risk donors & test reactive donors to ICTC.

- Facility to prepare Platelet Concentrates or Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
- Facility to prepare Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP)
- Facility to prepare Packed Red Blood Cells (PRBC)
- Each unit is tested by ELISA method to avoid the possible chances of Transfusion Transmitted Diseases, Blood grouping, Cross matching, DCT & ICT
- Equipped to store 600 units of blood
- Round-the-clock blood and components are provided to meet the medical and surgical needs of our patients and also to other hospitals.
- Registered with CMCEQUAS and HvPI
