The department of paediatrics is the oldest paediatric service provider in the private sector in Trivandrum. Paediatric services started in SUT Pattom during 1991-92 and a full-fledged department started functioning from 1996. The department of paediatrics provides the whole spectrum of outpatient and inpatient services for children up to 14 years of age along with dedicated adolescent services.
In addition to regular outpatient and inpatient services, we also have facilities for growth, development and nutrition assessment; Regular and special Immunisation services; and Child and Adolescent Mental Health services.
We are equipped with a fully functional Child Development Center with trained developmental therapist, dietitians, physiotherapists and well-trained nurses for providing immunisation and other services.
We also provide the full spectrum of subspecialty care with experienced neurologists, cardiologists, nephrologists and intensive care specialists. We also provide 24x7 paediatric emergency services.
