Nurse's Day 2025

Thiruvananthapuram: SUT Pattom Hospital observed International Nurses Day with gaiety at the Conference Hall on May 14. The event was inaugurated by Col. Rajeev Mannali, MD & CEO of SUT Hospital Pattom. In his inaugural address he acknowledged the tireless service of nurses as the main stay of the hospital and stressed that empowering them directly to strengthening the healthcare system in general and hospitals in particular. Ms. Rachelamma Jacob Daniel, Nursing Superintendent presided over the function. Nurse’s day messages were delivered by Dr. Rajasekharan Nair V (Medical Superintendent) and Prof. Nirmala L (Principal, SUT School of Nursing) highlighting the vital role of nurses in healthcare. Ms. Sreevalsa (Deputy Nursing Superintendent) led the oath taking and candle lighting ceremony. Dr. K.P. Paulose (Senior Consultant General Medicine), Dr. M. Unnikrishnan (Senior Vascular Surgeon) and Mr. M. Radhakrishnan Nair (Chief Liaison Officer) felicitated the nursing fraternity. Mementos were distributed to honour the nursing staff for their dedicated service. Cash awards were given away to the winners of the arts and sports competitions held at the Governmental level in connection with Nurse’s day celebrations.
