Infection Control Week 2025

SUT Hospital, Pattom, marked Infection Control Week 2025 from October 17–21, reinforcing its commitment to patient safety and hospital hygiene. This year’s theme — **“Stand UPPP: Unite. Prevent. Protect. Prevail.”** — focused on empowering every healthcare professional to take ownership of infection prevention. The week featured: - Interactive training sessions on infection control practices, led by the Infection Control Committee. - Poster and quiz competitions that encouraged staff to creatively express key principles of hygiene, waste segregation, and patient protection. - Awards and recognition for outstanding participants and teams that demonstrated excellence in infection prevention awareness. - A symbolic cake-cutting ceremony marking the hospital’s ongoing pledge to a cleaner, safer, and infection-free environment. Doctors, nurses, and support staff actively participated, making the event both educational and engaging. Through initiatives like these, SUT Hospital continues to promote a culture of safety and care that benefits patients and staff alike.
